Who typically visits WTCE?

WTCE is the one place where the whole onboard services industry comes together to meet and conduct business. With thousands of industry professionals including over 900+ airline, travel catering and rail buyers attending.

WTCE has a strict admissions policy and is open only to those involved in the onboard industry.

Why should I attend the show?

If you are involved or responsible for the purchase of travel catering or onboard services then this is the global industry event you cannot afford to miss. The show enables you to network and build relationships with new and existing partners, whilst staying ahead of the curve by updating your industry knowledge, understanding trends, discovering new products & networking with your peers.

What's On...

When is the Passenger Experience Conference?

The next edition of the Passenger Experience Conference will take place on Monday 7th April.

To register, simply select the upgrade option when you are registering for WTCE. If you have already registered, you can log back into your registration and add access on.

The Passenger Experience Conference programme will be announced in early 2025.

Is there a VIP Lounge?

Yes, for VIP badge holders, there is VIP Lounge, located in Hall A4.  The Lounge offers lunch, beverages and snacks, charging stations and plenty of space to hold meetings, relax or take a break.

Does WTCE offer any dedicated conference sessions?

Yes, in Hall A1 the Taste of Travel Theatre offers a series of topical panel debates, chef demos and expert seminars throughout the three days of the event.

It is free to attend on a first come, first served basis.

Is there an opening party?

Yes, on the evening before the show opens there is an official Welcome Party which is open to all exhibitors and attendees of WTCE. The party includes amazing industry networking opportunities, combined with an evening of entertainment, drinks and canapes.

How much does it cost to attend?

Attending WTCE is free when you register in advance. Onsite registration is charged at €50 + tax.

Who is eligible for a VIP badge?

Onboard buyers for airlines, travel catering, rail and cruise companies are eligible for an upgraded VIP badge. Register with your relevant company activity and your badge will be upgraded accordingly. You will be notified when you VIP badge has been confirmed. 

I haven’t received my badge, or my details are incorrect.

What does my badge give me access to?

Your badge provides you free access to:

  • World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo (WTCE)
  • Within this, features including What’s New Onboard, the Taste of Travel Theatre, WTCE Connect networking tool, and for VIPs, the VIP programme.
  • Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) which is taking place in the B Halls of Hamburg Messe.
  • You can also upgrade your badge to attend Passenger Experience Conference and the Welcome Party.

Is there an event App?

Yes, WTCE offers an app containing an interactive floorplan, exhibitor directory, attendee directory, Taste of Travel programme, and access to WTCE Connect along with other useful information.

Are there any networking tools?

Yes! Register as a Visitor or VIP and you will get access to WTCE Connect. Once you are registered as a visitor, you can

  • Search the exhibitor list and find companies specific to your requirements
  • Search the product directory and discover innovations you’d like to see in person
  • Book meetings with exhibitors and other attendees in advance and plan your event diary
  • Receive a personalised meeting schedule with names, photos and details of attendees
  • Plus more!

Safety and Security...

Do you have a safety and security policy?

The safety and security of our staff and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, local and national authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events.

  • Everyone attending our events should be aware that the following are in place:
  • Customer Service staff may approach you to assist you outside, at entry or inside the event
  • Staff and attendees are required to wear ID badges provided
  • Bag checks are in operation at our events
  • Walkthrough or hand held scanners may be in operation at our events
  • CCTV in operation at our events is monitored and recorded

Uniformed and covert Security Guards are in attendance at our events

Uniformed and covert Police are in attendance at some of our events

Canine Security and Detection is in operation at some of our events

Everyone attending our events is requested to:

  • Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended
  • Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious or just out of place to a member of event staff
  • Remain patient and courteous with event staff undertaking security checks
  • Follow the instructions of event staff at all times
  • On their final visit to the event, dispose of their badge inside the event or when they’ve returned home, not in bins immediately outside the event
  • Carry a recognised form of photo ID with them at all times
